Refund policy

Returns and Exchanges

For our Australian customers, we accept change of mind returns on most products within 30 days of your order date. Bulky and seasonal items such as work stands and advent calendars are excluded from this policy and we do not offer change of mind returns for them.

The product must be unused and still in unopened, original packaging. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, however, we do not charge a restocking fee. To initiate a return, please email orders@beautbike.com.au so we can arrange a printable postage label for you. It is your responsibility to safely repack the product and print and securely attach the postage label to the product. You will then need to handover the package at an Australia Post Local Post Office (LPO). Once we have received the order and assessed the product to determine it is in acceptable condition, we will process the refund within three (3) business days.

Australian Consumer Law

If an item is deemed unsuitable for its intended use for any reason stipulated by Australian Consumer Law, please contact us via email as soon as practically possible to see if we can organise an alternative arrangement before the returns process takes place. In that case that the product is returned, all original packaging must be intact and the product must be fit for resale. Scuff marks etc, may result in the return not being processed. Once a return has been approved, it will be processed within two (2) business days of receiving the return at our warehouse. You will receive a refund via the payment method which was originally used at checkout. In the event your return is not accepted, we will notify you. At which point, we can ship the product back to you at your cost. Items will be held for a period of ninety (90) days. Once this period has elapsed, the goods will disposed of or donated to charity. We reserve the right to reject any return if we believe that our returns process is being abused or for unreasonable repetitious returns. 

Warranty

The original manufacturer’s warranty covers all goods supplied by Beaut Bike. If an item has failed and you believe it to be a claimable warranty please contact us. While we do everything in our power to ensure warranties are dealt with as swiftly as possible, sometimes the products will need to be sent back to the distributor and in some cases the manufacturer for assessment. Please keep in mind, warranty of tools does not extend to the components they are used on. For example, if a bit was to fail and strip out a screw head, Beaut Bike or and distributors/manufacturers is not responsible for any liability involved in reparations to the damaged bolt or associated components etc.

Outcome of the Warranty assessment and action:

Product found to be defective and under warranty:

  • The products will either be repaired or
  • The product will be replaced or
  • The product purchase price will be refunded where it cannot be repaired or replaced with a similar product.

 Product found not to be defective or covered by the Warranty:

  • You will be notified of this outcome after assessment via email.
  • If the product has been sent back to us, the product can be returned to you at your expense.
  • Unclaimed items will be stored for ninety (90) days and will be disposed of if not collected.
Due to health and safety regulations, please clean your product before returning it.
