Chris Heerchap’s Scruler – a ruler for measuring screws!
It is capable of identifying all the common thread sizes on modern bikes – M3, M4, M5, M6, M8 and M10. It can then measure the length of the screw (with accuracy up to half a millimetre!) and identify most common thread pitches: M3x0.5, M4x0.7, M5x0.8, M6x1.0, M8x1.25, M8x1.0, M10x1.50 and M10x1. This second generation features Stainless Steel inserts for threads M3 – M6. Alongside the inserts are a pair of magnets which allow it to stick to any ferrous surface.
Scrulers are 3D Printed in PET-G in all colours except for Pink and Gold, which are printed in PLA. Please note PLA is slightly more prone to warping if left on the dashboard of a hot car – although if you keep your tools in a toolbox or workshop you’ve got nothing to worry about!
